In the House of Commons Mi- Ashley (Unionist) asked whether the Government had fui-xdshed 650 German war prisonera, who were not officers, with luxurious first-class railway accommodation, and whether the Gei-man authorities were similarly considerate of our prisoners. Mr Forstev, Financial Seci'etaiv to the War Office, admitted that 10 firstclass compartments m two trains were jised by these prisoners. No other ac- : conimodation Mas available at the time. Sir A.
