(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) Vienna; July 25. A communique says: We repulsed Russian attacks southward, of Prislop ridge, and also near Lobaczenka, m. Vol. hynia,. i W,e stopped the Russian approac'li southward of the Dneister, and made successful surprise night attacks northward of the Dneister. * Stubborn and futile Italian attacks southward of Suga<na» Valley, Pane Veggio, and. Pelegrino were made. / Four attacks on Monte Zebio failed. Repeated attacks were repulsed with tha severest losses. • v! Our naval air squadron bombed San Georgio and Mont. -Falcone. There were several large fires. AMSTERDAM, July 25. A Turkish communique , says : The cruiser Midillieh formerly the Breslau, encountered south off Sevastopol a strong enemy squadron, consisting of a new Dreadnought of the Empress Maria class and four destroyers. After fbur hours' fighting the Midillieh evaded efforts to cut her off, and returned undamaged. A Turkish monitor attacked two enemy monitors on the Euphrates, setting one afire.
