PATHETIC REUNION.
MEETING OF BRITISH PRISONERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. ' GENEVA, May 31. The second contingent of British invalid and wounded prisoners, numbering 150, passed through Zurich. M >!itreax, and other Swiss towns, on their way to Chateau d'Oex. Many French wounded were m the same train, and fraternised cordially with- the English travellers. Their journey was marked throughout by the same enthusiastic scenes which accompanied the previous day's journey. The soldiers seemed astonished at the warmth of their welcome. Their chief anxiety was to see the London newspapers and to obtain some white bread, and their wishes m both cases were lavishly met. The wives and children of some of the officers greeted them on their arrival, and there were pathetic sc-aes en their reunion after a separation of more than 12 months.
