AUSTRIAN REPORTS.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) AMSTERDAM, July 23. An Austrian communique states : — The Russians captured Magura height, near Tatirov. We recaptured 1 it, and we liave taken new positions. South-west of Beresteszko we repulsed Russian attacks. Another Austrian communique states that the Russian advances on Oapuli Hill and Bukovina were repulsed; The Russian attacks neai' lamana, south and westward of Delatyn, broke down. The enemy attacked after artillery preparations lasting for several days on a sector at the mouth of the Lipa. His advance via Werben was arrested, nevertheless we .withdrew our salient m portions before a new threatening surroimdine movement. lii the Beresteaeo region strong Italian forces attacking eastwards of Boroola Pass during a mist were repulsed with heavy losses.
