MOTOR BOAT' WAR SERVICE.

Answering a question as to the conditions under which New Zealandei's may enlist in the motor boat section in England, Mr Allen stated that no official communication had been received on the subject, though the Government twice cabled for information. The Governor had been asked to send another cable for information. SOLDIERS' DEATH REGISTRATION. A point troubling a number of Southc?in people, states Mr Thomson, is whether in the ease of soldiers dying before leaving New Zealand the death can be registered in th? district where the soldier lived, instead of the entry being confined to military record?. The member questioned the Minister of Defence on the . point which .the AttorneyGeneral undertook to consider and answer later. |
