ITALIANS CONFIDENT.
A WARRIOR KING. CONSTANTLY UNDER FIRE. .. ■ ' \ . ■ LONDON, July 8. Colonel Repingtbn, the Times military correspbnderit, now at Italian' headquarters, states that he has visited 400 miles of^ the Alpine front in company with tho army, which is bent upon the reconquest of the Asiago plateau. Italy, ho states,, is united as regards the war. The army is gay and^ confident, anc there is abundance of cheap food, as the result of an abundant harvest. "The army," adds Colonel Repington "is fortunate, inasmuch, as Italy has r, warrior king who is constantly in tho firing line. He has had many narrow escapes, and is known and loved everywhere. His cool judgment and largo experience have assisted both Ministers and generals. He received me at unpretentious headquarters — a small room with little or no furniture."
