SEAPLANE HITS SHIP.
'STRANGE ACCIDENT AT SOUTHAMPTON. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received July 22, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 21. A strange aeroplane accident occurred in 'Southampton Water. A large vessel was outward bound and three seaplanes manoeuvring overhead and flying low. One suddenly swerved and crashed into the main mast, breaking down .the steariaer's wireless and rigging. The seaplane fell on the deck. . > " The pilot was killed and a seaman seriously injured.
