The' Rangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Association's winter show, now being held at Taihape, is the most successful yet experienced. The judges in every section speak in superlative terms of the quality of the exhibits. Mr Lonsdale, manager of the Momohaka fitate Farm, .commenting on the field section, said that the swedes were ahead of anything he had seen in the Dominion. The whole root section was. an outstanding feature. He. said a country growing such crops would safely hold itself pre-eminent in the fanning industry. Mr Lpnsdale visited tho Taihape stock sale. He said he had never seen a better yaxding for years. There was quality and size right through. The prices were high, but the quality warranted them. Poultry constituted a record. The North Island championship for white Plymouth Rocks was won by W. Cullen (Palmerston North). A similar honor for barred rocks was won by G. W. Whittingham (Manurewa).
