DESPERATE ENCOUNTER. AIRMEN'S EVOLUTIONS SURPASS ALL RECORDS. (United Service.) LONDON, July 17. Mr Beach Thomas, the war correspondent, describing ther Trones Wood struggle, says : — Duels were fought m wliich both combatants died, and they lie' together each pierced by the other's weapon. Snipers fell clattering from the trees and lio hung across the branches. Our airmen's evolutions surpass all records. It has became a habit to swoop down two or three hundred yards and empty their guns into the enemy's m: fantry. Our airmen novy co-operate* with the infantry and cavalry;, besides their special work as the eyes of tlie artillery.
