KAISER DISTRIBUTES IRON CROSSES.

It is officially announced at Berlin that the Kaiser has visited the General Staff hospital on the Somme battle area and conferred Iron Crosses on the wounded men. Advice has been received that Nurse Isa Whyte. of A*uckla.nd, has been appointed matron m charge of a field hospital m France.
