TURANGANUI CLUB.
Tho Turanganui green was fully occupied on Saturday afternoon, and was m good order.. The final of the Saturday section of the President's Fours was played between Davidson, Clarke, Flavell, and J. J. Martin (skip) and Graham, Lawless, Haisman, and Thelwall (skip). The game was closely contested all through, being 15 all on the 17th head. Martin war, leading by two at the 20th head, but Thelwall equalised matters on the 21st head. The extra turn was an exciting one, ail the bowlers on the green leaving their games and watching the head; Martin scored two, and thus won the game by 21 to 19. Martin now meets the winners of the Thursday section, which has not yet been decided, Nasmith and P. Howard being m the running. A game m the Vice-President's Pairs was played, resulting m Power and Nasmith. jnr. (skip) defeating Finn (T. Spiers sub.) aaid Dooley (ship) by 24 to 19. Friendly games played, resulted as follows: Wyles, Sparrow, Jeune, Gray (skip) 17 v. Mahonev, Lucas, McConnell, W. Howard (skip) 16. File, Hird, Jennings, Nasmith, senr. (skip) 19 v. Mason, Town, Taylor, Sawyer (skip) 16. Ten-head "game: Mason, Eaton, and W. Town (skip) 14 defeated Lawless^ Spiers, and Flavell (skip) 11.
