Tho report of the Christchurch Meat Company for tile year ended October 51st., states : The balance available for appropriation is £66,469, whicli the directors recommend be disposed of as follows. Dividend of four per cent, for the half year (making eight per cent, for the year) £6769, bonus of three per cent, on paid-up ca-pital, £5076; second subscription to patriotic funds (making £5000 to date) £3000; add to reserve account £20,000, carry forward £30,624.
