A French wireless communique, commentinp* on the Associated Press of New York interview with King Constantino, points out that the Allies went to Salonika at Greece's request, and adds : "In the last few months the Greek Government has allowed its neutrality to be violated by the Germans and Austrians, who used tho coasts and islets as submarine bases. "An entire German staff was found at Corfu on tho evo of tho French disembarkation. "From these coasts and isles pirates wore sent out who sank the Ancona and Persia. NEW YORK, January 23. King Constantino's appeal to the United States has fallen flat. The newsnapors are unsympathetic, reminding him that the Allies came virtually at Greece's invitation.
