Care must be taken not to interfere with production m our own country or with supplies from abroad. Tlie aim of the Government has been to keep the country prosperous and to see if the people had to pay more lor commodities they were m a position to do So far no serious pinch has been iclt. He believes if we Had fewer croakers we would have a correspondingly smaller number of shirkers.
