MESSAGES FROM RUSSIAN
STATESMEN.

(Received August 4, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 3. The Daily Mail publishes messages to tho British people from M. Godemykine, Russian Premier, who says : "After a year of war we can say with certainty that wo are twelve months nearer liberation of the' world, since we are- all determined to complete that liberation."
General Polivanoff, Minister of War, says: "We shall continue to fight with all the strength which lies m tho inexhaustible resources of tho Russian Empire, with unshakeable confidence m ultimate victory, and with a volume of munitions which is increasing daily."
