ALLEGED THEFT OF RAILWAY SLEEPERS.
At the Police Court this afteimoon before Mr W. A. 33'avton, fcJ.M., ■ John Coleman, engaged m shipping work, was charged that on or about 22nd inst. he did steal 13 railway sleepers, valued at £4 4s 6d, the property of the New Zealand Railway Department. On the application of Detective McLeod accused, was remanded, until 9.15 tomorrow morning. Bail was allowed accused m £20 and one surety m £20.
