Private Oogar wa,s a member of the local Tertitorials, aud he Avas the tljird man to enlist, at Gisborne fcxr the firoiit, his brother being the second main to enrol. Gunner F. H. Private Hugh Latimer Tnkc, of the Sixth Haiiiraki (Auckland) Infantry, a nephew of A'lrs W. D. Lysnar, died on a hospital ship from wounds l'eceived m action.
