It was to be regretted that the Boai'd* declined tc> provide a teachers' room. Very often the : teachers had their lunches at school 1 , aoid one of the class rooms had to bo taken by them. Few schools as large as that was were unprovided with teachers' rooms. . Arrangements for the ' schiool concert wero nearly oomple'ted., und they > should bfe able io hold it' in a couple of weeks. The girls m the upper classes were going' to employ their spare time m knitting scarves for the soldiers. The headmaster referred ( to several minor matters requiring attention, and it was decjdied to have tn'e work done. Ellery and family. v The conunitlee decided to erect a suitable tablet m or neao 1 the school to commemorate the boys of tho school who. have gone to the war. Messrs BurLlett and Clayton were appointed a vi-iting committee for the month. Accounts amounting to £21 12s were •passed for paymeiit.
