South-east of' Neuvelle Straas the French attacked, progressing' four hun dred metres.' Numerous prisoners were taken, including several officers. At Booders Wood,-, Lei Pretre. new German trenches, were captured, also fifty prisoners.
In Alsace, at. Schnepferreit, the French repulsed an attack drove the enemy from one of his original trenches.
