AMSTERDAM, May 30. A Berlin • official message reads : "French counter-attacks on the road from Beth une to Souchez were repulsed on tho entire front with terrible losses. Weak German forces were withdrawn .unobserved by night front tho east part of Ablain ; otherwise there would have been useless • bloodshed. Gravelines, Dunkirk, and St. Omer have been airbombed.
