SUC-JOES^ AFTER HEAVY' FIGHTING.
(Received May- 29, 10.5 a.m.) PARIS, May 28. A communique states: Our offensive progresses at Ablain and St. Nazaire. Weioccupied a group of houses near the cemetery, Avhich the Germans stTengly held. We afterwards/ carried by assault German trenches on the road to Moulinualon, south-east of Ablain. We also captured largo German earth - Avorks m the direction of Souchez, after heavy fighting, the enemy sustaining a eeriotu clef tat. We captured 7 officers, four hundred men, and a doz-t) machine guns.
