Ay the sale of store sheep by Messrs Williams and Kettle, NT.Z. Loan and Merca'nt.le Co., and Murray, Roberts and Co. proceeded at the sale-yards yesterday, bidding briuliteneil a trifle, 'but nevertheless the supply far p.\ceed«d the demand. and r prices accordingly were easy. The additional salfs recorded were: 14*2 and 4-tooi]i ewes 10s 9d, 86 woolly lambs % 7d, 29 4 and 6-tooth wethers 16s M. 1&7 s.m. ewes 9s, 249 5-year-old ewes -10s 6d, 237 woolly Jambs 4s Sri. 12534 4 and 6 tooth ewes 11s Id, 184 K.ni. ewes 6s 7d, 191 do. 6s 9d. There was not a heavy demand for fitore cattle, and the majority of the yarding ua« passed m. The sales w«ve : 1 springing heifer £4 ss, 2 bullocks £6 Is, 22 young steers £4 16s, 2 empty cows £4' 10s. 1 bullock £5 ss, 6 small steers £3, 13 do. £3 7s 6d, 6 empty cows £6. .
