■ «» (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. At the final wool sale of the season to-day 6702 bales were offered, against 2128 iv the corresponding sale of last year. The total for the year is 55,349 bales, compared with 54,814 m 1913-14. Competition was very keen, especially for crossbred and thiee-quarterbred, which sold at prices about 2d per lb above rates ruling at the third sale of the series. Half-bred sold extremely well, and considering the class . of clips, the prices were quite above January rates, and m some cases slightly more. Only a small quantity of merino was on sale, for which bidding was slow, and half the offering passed. A few Corriedale clips were offered, but prices were very firm, reaching 14£ d. All classes of pieces sold well at prices Id to L]d better than January rates. ■*^'* i;l *****"******"*
