On Thursday at the Hawarden sale, Messrs H. Matsoii and Co. offered on account of Leicester Matson, of the well-known Brooksaale estate, 1000 particularly fine lambs, which realised prices ranging from 22s to 255, the average for the line being 22s 6d. In the opinion of competent juages present at the sale, the line was one of the best ever seen in a public saleyard in Canterbury.
