I The' Germans here - did not attempt j infantry attacks, and have limited themselves to cannonading our front with heavy artillery. j In i Champagne and on the western slope of Argonn© beyond S6maine, we liave taken. Mesnil and Woevre. i The enemy continues to hold Thioncourt, and has cannonaded Hasson Chatel.
There is no new report from Lorraine and the Vosges. .;..:'■ The Germane are fortifying themselves on the Delme side and to .the south of Chateau Salins. '
Thirty dum-dum bullets have been extracted from wounded trooos*.
