The Tagliche Rundschau says that Britain has definitely rejected Russia and France's request to join the FrancoRussian navel convention. Sir Edward Grey had intimated that the Government desired, m deference to British sentiment, to maintain the good relations with Germany and avoid a step that- might be regarded as directed against the latter.
