Mr Mcßride, the Premier of British Columbia, commenting on the arrival of, Hindus, pointed put the singular coincidence that Hindus were attempting to to enter Canada when the Imperial Government was engaged In the solution .of vexed domestio problems. It Was impossible to agree for a moment with the Hindus' claim that, as British subjects, they were entitled to enter, the British dominions. He said Canadar excluded even Englishmen if* they were ;! uTidesbable. Canada freely admitted India's right to exclude Canadians', and asked, m turn, India to admit Canada's similar right. ly
