AUCKLAND HARBOR BOARD.

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. The financial position of the Auckland Harbor Board was reviewed by the Chairman (Mr J. H. Gunson) during the annual meeting. /'The financial records of the Board," said the Chairman, "reveal a steady and constantly improved position, uninterrupted progress being recorded since the Board's inception m 1871. Its revertue, he said,, had been of a consistently expanding nature, and "h© quoted the following, showing the gross revenue m various years: 1871, £6522; 1830, £33.---211 j 1890, £47,837 ; 1900, £52,598 ; 1910, £122,053 1913, £160,295." During the past year the revenue was shown as £160,295 9s lOd, which left a credit balance of £2022 Os 7d', and was substantially the same as during 1912. but there was an actual loss of £5670 revenue arising from the strike m October knd November last, which, for a time; seriously dislocated t'he trade bf the port of Auckland.' There was, however, no prospect of a recurrence of such a state of affairs, and tho loss had been more than, recovered during the first three months of this year.
