VISIT OF EARL GREY.

(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUROH, last night. Earl Grey arrived to-night from the South, and was welcomed by the Deputy-Mayor and others at the station. He will remain here till Saturday. By request, ho public functions will be held. To-morrow his Excellency the Governor and Earl Grey will visit the Central Dairy Factory. Subsequently they will proceed by motor to the Belfast Freezing Works, where they will be entertained luncheon by Sir Geo. Clifford, chairwoman of the company. On Friday his Excellency, accompanied by Earl Grey, will visit Mr and Mrs John Grigg at Longbeach. On Saturday morning his Excellency and Earl Grey will pay a visit to the Lincoln Agricultural College, and m the evening Lord and Lady Grey, who during their stay m Christchurch are to be the guests of Mr and Mrs Arthur Roberts, will leave for" Wellington.
