The secretary of the Board of Education notified the committee of the transfer of Mr Cowan and Miss Blackie to other schools, and of the appointment of Mr Daly and Misses Shepherd and McCartney as assistant teachers, , and of Mr Jenkins temporarily as first assistant master. The Board agreed to connect the caretaker's cottage with the sewers, but deolined to make any increase m their contribution to 1 the caretaker's wages.
