LONDON, December 16. In a lecture before the. Royal Society of Arts yesterday* evening 'Mr Thorne Baker, the well-known photographic worker, reported the discovery . that an electric current increases flow jOf nutrient through the capillaries by reducing its viscsity: According to the lecturer, there would be no difficulty iih raising chickens at double tho usual speed and at half the present cost of food by th(! new process. It was also pointed out that the discovery may load to the hastening, by means ot electricity, of hutnan development, and to the elimination of many infantile ailments, W Thome Baker told his audience that he proposed to attempt, to rectify KtaJe. eggs, and , to makf-, ; more marketable ujijgß which had deteriorated through haying -been kept too long m cold storage-
