GISBORNE CLUB
The above club continued their trial fours last night. The semi-final- ln tlie A grade, which was to, have taken place between Pycroft and McConville, was not rowed oif. owing to one member of Pycroft's crew not turning up. The race goes to McConville. who meets Gerrard m the final. B Grade.— T. Donovan, Hood. Boyd and J. Chrisp met J. Winter. A. Duncan, G. Fromm and Porter. Both crews got away well together, but Donovan soon obtained a short lead, .which he maintained throughout the face, and won by about a length. S. T. RichardSi Jack Somerton, J. Parmlnter and Herival beat A. L. Winter. Douglas (jun.), Somerton and Grumnley by two lengths. The final will be rowed to-night.
