HUNT CLUB RACES.
The following is a continuation of the results of the races at the Park this afternoon : —
SECOND OPEN FLAT HANDICAP, of 15 soys. Seven furlongs.
Mx P. W. Tavlor's Gazette, by G'azeloy—Fernhurst, 10.10 (F. Porter) 1 Mr A. B. Newmans Chortle, 9.13 (Jefford) _ Mr M. O. Nasmith's Aldgown, 9.10 (A. McLeod) ... 6 — Ateo started : Game 9.13 (Fitzgerald), Lord Gazeley 8.7 (A. Barber). Chortle assumed the lead, closely followed by Aldgown and. Gazette together; Game was next, and Lord Gazcley came last. The latter ran off before he had gone far, but ultimately got going again. Just before tlie straight was reached Gazette came np on • the outside, and passed Aldgown, closing up with Chortle. A 'ding-dong rr.ee ensued between the two horses, and ended m Gazette gaining the verdict by a nose, Aldgown was third a short length behind Chortle. Game was some distance behind the third horse, and Lord Gazeley finished last. Time, 1.32. i
