■ The Premier (Mr Gorrin) ordered haste m connection Avith the ThaAV case m order to slum' that none of the objectionable delays snch as occur m the United States legal administration are allowed to happen ih Canada. The Judge thereupon heard the new habeas corpus application privately, ana announced that he would render his decision m a couple of days. (Received Sept. 4, 1.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, September 3. ! At Serbrooko Supreme Court the judge granted a Avrit of habeas corpus, releasing ThaAV,' Avho Avas immediately! taken into custody by the immigration authorities. He Avill undergo a preliminary examination Avith a vieAv to deportation.
