Tins company of eleven performers Are just ■ closing a very ■ successful six weeks' season m Auckland, -aiid -after tlie Gis T homo season they leave for Australia, where they- are booked to play the summer season m Adelaide. It is claimed that tliis is the best of the five companies of "Dandies" under Mr Bransoombe's direction. It certainly lends an ab: of managerial confidence at any Tate, tliat this company should be selected to fill the long successful seasons m the metropolitan centrps. To this success < various things have contributed, first of all perhaps, adhering to the Branscombe rule that inhibits any number m questionable taste, next the strength, variety and general excillence of tlie organisation. The company includes Mr Athol Tier, a comedian -of ability and agility a& a dancer; Mr Ford Walthani, the superb basso ; Mr Geo. Edwards, - light comedian arid dancer; M'r ßobert Agnew, thd- popular tenor; Mr Joseph Brenrtan, the accomplished monploguist and raconteur ; Mr Marshall Lawrence, baritone : Mr Frank Peachey, society jester ; Mr Philip Ha/rdraan, the singing pianist ; Miss Lily Fitzgerald, soprano; Miss Peggy , Ross, contralto, and Alias Rita Fitzgerald, the exquisite soubrette and oommedienne. The box plan opens at Miller's to-morrow (Thursday) morning.
