Tht> following statement of balances r,f accounts as at 29th August. 1913, was tabled at the Borough Onunril meeting last night : — LOAN ACCOUNTS. Sewerage and other miscellaneous works loan account: Recreation grounds £803 6s id, Waimata bridge £4555 ls Gd, tramways £369 19s Bd, waterworks £5435 ls 9d, house connections deposit ac. £535 ls sd, house connections £3961 0s lOd, total £15,659 lis 3d. The Gisborne sewerage works completion loan. 1912, of £6050, £3303 17s sd. The waterworks loan, 1912, of £15,750, £4152 13s 2d. The Gisborne road construction and metalling loan, 1912, of £15,750, £7964 ls 3d. The Waimata bridge loan, 1912, of £3500, £1658 16s 3d.
The Gisborne cemetery site loan, 1912, of £2500. £310 15s 7d.
New hospital loan of £5215, £1615. The Gisborne extension of electric light and power loan, 1913, of £15,000, £10,633 9s sd.
Temporary loans deposit account, £18,010 16s.
GENERAL ACCOUNT. District fund account Dr. £17,221 15s 7d.
