HUNT CLUB'S RACES.
Tho annual race meeting m connection with th© Poverty Bay Hunt Club takes place on Thursday afternoon at the Park Racecourse. Given fine weather there should be a large attendance, as a pleasant afternoon's sport is promised. There are satisfactory entries for the six events, which should produce some interesting racing. Tlie course is m its usual good order, and the arrangements for the meeting have been carefully prepared by the secretary (Mr H. E. Dodd.) Tlie first event commences at 1.30 p.m., and there will be half an hour between each race, the last one being timed to start at 4 o'clock.
