Mr Page, United States Ambassador, unveiled a Pilgrim Fathers' memorial at Southampton. He said that on the AngloAmerican institutions tfoo principal destinies of the human race would depend. The responsibility for ruling the world, he said, rests on those speaking Shakespeare's language. A number of descendants of tlie Pilgrim Fathers were prejeiit.
