Mr Buxton (President Of the Board of Trade), m reply to Mr B. E. Peto's denunciation of the drastic color tests imposed on officers of the merchant service under pressure by the Union Steamship Company of. New ' Zealand, promised to enquire how far the complaints were justified. The only question was that of securing the right sort cf test for color blindness.
