POLITICS IN ENGLAND.
TACTICS OF THE LIBERALS
LONDON, June 6
The Times, m a leading article on the British political situation,, says : — "It is clear that m the House of Commons nothing better than fight can go on. The real issue is m the constituencies, and it is left for the Unionist party to show the Government, through the constituencies, that the course it is pursuing respecting Home Rule leads straight to disaster. If the Liberal party is bent upon electioneering for 'a future date, and chooses to ignore the gravity of the existing situation, their tactics will bring their own retribution."
