SCALER BEATEN IN 15 ROUNDS. \ VANCOUVER, May 28,
Freddie Welsh, the English lightweight champion, gained a popular decision over Kid Scaler at Edmonton (Alberta), Canada, at tlie end, of ils rounds.
Scaler was knocked down in the 15th round, and it was possible that had there been a few more seconds left Welsh would have secured a knock-out.
