STOCK SALES.
At the stock sales at Matawhero this afternoon the following additional lines were sold by Messrs Dalgety and Co. and Common, Shelton and Co. :— Store sheep : 157 wethers lis 6d, 200 hoggets 6s 9d, 203 woolly lambs lis sd, 433 lambs 9s lid, 330 do. 7s, 75 empty ewes 3s 6d, 300 wether lambs 7s lOd, 91 hoggets ss, 80 lambs 4s lid, 23 old ewes 3s Bd, 20 ewes 9s id, 85 lambs 4s 3d, 35 full-mouth ewes ss, 30 ewes (in lamb) 3s 3d, 61 hoggets 5s lOd, 37 ewes fin lamb) B's 6d, 18 aged rams ss, 11 do. Bs, 20 cull ewes 2s, 25 ewes 53 4d, 8 do. 7s 9d, 14 wethers 8s lOd, 11 do. lis, 40 do. 9s lOd.
Store cattle: Tlie prices for store cattle were satisfactory. The following sales were effected by Common. Shelton and Co. and Dalcretvand Co. : 15 heifers £2 9s, 11 do. £2 Bs, 15 do. £2 9s, 35 18-mont'h steers £3 10s, 23 yearlings £2 6s, 29 steers £3 18s.
