There' is much discussion anent the Poet Laureateship. Some newspapers suggest the abolition of the office. Th© claim of Bridges, Watson, Newbblt, Royes, and Masfield are discussed, while a majority favor Kipling.' The body of the late Alfred Austin will be cremated on Thursday.
