Maitai, which arrived from Auckland and Tokomaru Bay yesterday afternoon, sailed last night about 10 o'clock for Napier and Southern ports. The s.s. Kurow, wifhcpal. from Newcastle for Tokomaru Bay and Napier, passed Cape Brett, yesterday at 12.50 p.m., and is due at Tokomaru Bay either tonight or early to-morrow morning. The s.s. Wanaka left Timaru at C p.m. yesterday for Gisborne, via Napier. She Is due here /on Saturday, and On completion of discharge sails /for Auckland. The s.s. Kowhai. whiqh left Greymouth last Saturday night _or f Dunedin, leaves there to-day for Gisborne, via usual ports. She will call at Wellington, and will probably go to Picton. ( > ; The a.s. Auckland this mornfrtg. The scow Alert and the ketch Coronation are still' discharging timber at the Kaiti wharf. The s.s. Holrndale will be placed on the hard this afternoon for repairs to her propeller, and she will leave for South to-morrow morning. - - . After discharge of her timber cargo at Sydney, the barquentine Lindstol goes to Newcastle to load a cargo of coal for Gisborne. The following vessels will probably be within, wireless range to-night from Auckland: Makura. Mdaha, Moeraki, Maitai, Manukay Navua, Talune, Wimmera, and H.M-S. New Zealand., From Wellington: Wimmera. Moeraki, Maitai, Manuka, Marama, Makura, and New Zealand.
