SHOOTING A CHINAMAN.
(Press Assn— By Telegraph— Copyright.; (Received June 5, 10.20 a.m ) SYDNEY, June 5. Cecil George Eather has been acquitted on a charge of ' shooting a Chinaman.
[ As the result of an inquest on March 28 • on the body of Chung Foon. a Chinaman. < found shot near Parramatta, Cecil George Gather was committed for trial for shoot[ing him. Accused stated that Foon chased him because he asked Foon if he had taken a bird trap. He fired four shots with the idea of stopping Foon. He had not intended to hit him.
