ROYALTIES IN GERMANY.

QUEEN MARY'S BHiTHDAY,

KAISER'S CONGRATULATIONS,

LONDON, May 28. The royal festivities in Berlin were continued, when, in honor of Queen Mary's birthday, the nlonarchs visited the Grand Duke of iseustrelitz, and a luncheon party was given. The Kaiser and the Empress visited the British royalties in the morning, and offered their congratulations upon the day. BERLIN, May 28. King George and Queen Mary received the Lord Mayor of Berlin, Herr Wer-" murth, in audience. The talk lasted quite a while, and the King and Queen declared that they were extremely satisfied with the sojourn in the city arid with the festivities that • had been ar-] ranged for their benefit generally. "We are very glad," said King George, who also requested the Lord Mayor to convey 3to the people of Berlin his thanks and those of his consort for> the happy holiday they had spent.

On Sunday King George and the Kaiser breakfasted at the Casino >with the Ist Regiment of Dragoon Guards, of which the British monarch is Colonel-in-Chief. King George also reviewed the same regiment. He has expressed to the membrs of the British Embassy here his keen satisfaction at the general reception accorded to him and Queen Mary, and his particular gratification at the deep sincerity which has been displayed by the German people whenever he and his consort have shown themselves in public.
