Work is m progress on the Custom House street pumping station. The bricbwoi'k over the manholes of the tanks is being built up to provide for the pumping plant which, is to be installed m place of the septic tank as originally designed.

At Wootton's rooms to-night another euchre party will be held m aid of the furnishing of the Children's Home. Play commences at 8 o'clock. Handsome prizes axe being presented to the winners.
