THE DOCTOR'S SPECIMEN.
WOMAN'S HEART Df AJAR.
MELBOURNE, May 28. Indignation is expressed at Greelonir concerning the evidence at an inquest on the body of a married woman. &he was m the local hospital for 14 days and died from heart failure and what was supposed to be typhoid fever. The evidence was to the effect that the junior resident medical doctor, Aberdeen, placed the woman's heart m a jar for preservation. The husband had not author-, ised an operation, and complained to the coroner. The heart was restored to theN corpse, but another Geelong doctor coolly informed the coroner that every hospital had its museum of specimens.
