A good deal of interest was taken in the seven a-side hockey tournament this afternoon, three games being played simultaneously. Some hard and fast games were witnessed. The results at 3 p.m. were as follow: — GIRLS. Old Girls A (3)' beat High School A (1). Gisborne A (0) v. High School A (0). Old • Girls B (4) v. Gisborne Ladies W (0). High School B (1) v. Gisborne B (1). MEN.
Section A: Mercantile A (1) v. Te Ram (0) ; Mira (4) v. Mercantile B (1) ; Civil A (3) v. Mira (0) ; Kia Ora (4) v. Mercantile (13). Section B: West End (3) v. Civil B 0; Civil A (3) v. Kia Ora (1); Civil B (0) v. Mercantile. A (0); Te Rau (1) v. West End (1).
