MARCONI SHARES AGAIN.

WINSTON CHURCHILL ANGRY. LONDON, April 30. Before the Select Committee of the House of Commons that is inquiring into the Marconi contracts, Mr Powell, editor of the Financial News, gave evidence that he had heard m America that the First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr WinBton Churchill, was interested m the Marconi enterprises. Personally he did not believe the rumor. Mr Churchill was summoned as a witness, and he angrily attacked the committee for asking him to repel an insulting charge. He had never held any Marcpni shares, and if anybody said he had, that person was a liar and a slanderer. If such a person repeated the statement, while believing that it was false, then he was a coward as well.
